Allergan Inc. will end moving its operations to Costa Rica this 2009. The U.S. company decided to close its plant in Ireland in 2008 and from this year on will focus in Costa Rican processing plant, where it manages the medical implants division.
The company will invest in Costa Rica nearly $6 million more in new equipment and technologies that will automate its production processes.
During 2008, Allergan Inc. Costa Rica exported $280 million and this year plans to hire 30 more people, which demonstrates its confidence in Costa Rican human talent.
