The Internet advertising and marketing company, Schematic, opened last March 10 its new offices in Costa Rica and announced the expansion of its operations in this Central American country.

Schematic’s new building is located in Plaza Roble, Escazú. It will let this company work in a better position to continue offering its services from Costa Rica, including Internet solutions development, mobile devices, digital environments, television, advertising and online marketing.

Despite the global economic crisis, the company plans to increase its payroll from 90 employees to 130 in the medium term. This represents a significant increase when you take into account that this company started with just two employees in 2005, when it became the first full interactive services agency to establish operations in Costa Rica.

The President of Costa Rica, Oscar Arias, participated in the opening ceremony and highlighted the work of Costa Rican talent in Schematic, whose staff includes young web designers, software developers, solution architects, project managers and other professionals in careers related to design and technology.

Schematic’s CEO, Trevor Kaufman, coincided with Costa Rica’s President.

"We were able to staff the office in Costa Rica with local talent, thanks to the excellent pool of highly qualified people who graduate from the strong education system", said Schematic’s CEO during the opening ceremony.

Schematic’s portfolio of clients includes renowned global brands like Microsoft, Coca Cola, Televisa, Dell, Nokia and NBC Sports.
